Dave Mathews Band

Another concert done....we went to see Dave Mathews Band on August 20th, 2010. It was at the outdoor ampitheater just aorund the corner from our house. It was really, really good.

I had never been to DMB before and it was quite and experience! Especially being in southern California....I had the WORST headache of my life just after the concert started and I was so dizzy and sick to my stomach I could hardly stand....thank you SoCal and you love of weed.

But I was cool just sitting there on our blanket listening to the music. D and I want to find a live album on CD so we can listen to it more often. It was a first for both of us! I wish I would have taken some picuters, but I totally forgot!

So that makes 3 for the year and I am right on track for finishing my 5 concerts for my 101!!!

1. Try to start a family.
2. Buy our first house....as of June 18th, 2010!!!!!
3. Sell my current car, and buy a new, bigger, nicer car! (As of April 10th, 2010...I am the proud owner of a 2010 Ford Escape!!!)
4. After we start a family, I want to make a will and power of attorney.
5. Take D on a surprise trip some where. (D's 24th birthday trip to Vegas!)
6. Monthly date nights with D. (7/27)- Coronado bike night! 10/9/10
7. Start a small herb garden.
8. Get a fireproof box for all important documents.
9. Finish my degree.
10. Start a photo album for each year of our adventures in California!
11. Expand my library to 50 new books. (19/50)
12. Try to learn and play COD with D at least 5 times. (0/5)
13. Fly my sister out to SoCal to visit me for her birthday one summer.
14. Send Christmas cards to ALL family and close friends. (0/2)
15. Have one girls night a month during 9 different months. (2/9)-Friend's bachelorette party on May 1st, 2010.
16. Pay off my credit cards.
17. Pay off my student loans, before the 10 years I am allowed!
18. Maintain a minimum of $1000 in savings at all times.
19. Start college savings plans for our future children.
20. Cut up all “extra” credit cards after paid off, and only keep 1 for emergencies.
21. Try 1 new recipe a month. (7/27)....Hamburger cupy-cakes- September 2010.
22. Make a home cooked meal for D 2 times a week for 12 weeks. (5/24)....August 2nd to August 5th, chicken parm, lemon spaghetti, steaks and almond crusted chicken.
23. Host more dinner parties. (0/4)
24. Have a picnic on the beach with D.
25. Try 10 new restaurants a year. (3/25) Vigilucci's in La Jolla.
26. Loose 20 pounds. (13/20)
27. Work-out on a more regular basis all year round (minimum of 3 times a week).
28. Physically run, not walk, in a 5k.
29. Raise the $2400 for the 3-Day Avon Breast Cancer walk at least once.
30. Take a muliti vitamin daily for 3 months. (8/90) 1st attempt....May 26th, 2010. Fell off that band wagon...
31. Do 100 crunches daily for 2 months. (0/60)
32. Complete my INSANITY workout in the 60 days and post pictures! (20/60)
33. Take a photography class.
34. Take a cake decorating class.
35. Make all my children’s bedding for when they are born.
36. Take a road trip to the closest Hobby Lobby…in Yuma, AZ. 37. Go on 12 movie date nights with D. (6/12)...Resident Evil 3D, movie date night 9/24/10
38. Go to 5 concerts. (4/5) Ax7 and Disturbed Rockstar Music Fest, 9/18/10
39. Buy the House DVD series. (2/?)
40. Donate $50 a month to the Red Cross in Norman, OK for 6 months (they once helped us, and I feel like we should repay the favor). (0/6)
41. Donate enough blood to get my 1 liter pin. (0/8)
42. Donate 250,000 grains of rice at FREERICE.COM (0/250,000)
43. Donate old furniture to The Salvation Army.
44. Buy new “grown-up” furniture for out master bedroom.
45. Paint our master bedroom blue and cream to match our bedding.
46. Completely decorate our house…in a “grown-up” manner.
47. Visit 3 new states, not including airport layovers. (1/3)-D's b-day trip to Las Vegas, Nevada, 3/25-3/28/10
48. Go to a San Diego Chargers football game with D.
49. Go to a 49ers football game with D.
50. Go to a Lakers basketball game with D.
51. Go to a real spa.
52. Get a deep tissue massage.
53. Go skiing and not spend most of the time on my butt.
54. Keep up with my blog at least weekly for 3 months straight. (12/12) as of the end of May!!
55. Have a real Christmas tree each year. (0/2)
56. Play in a real poker tournament.
57. Finish printing off all our wedding photos and put them in an album.
58. Get more involved and informed in politics.

60. Find a new church and attend at least once a month.
61. Buy something from Andrea’s Attic!
62. Make a big quilt and do all the layer attaching by hand.
63. Finish making quilts for my nieces and nephews. (8/20)

65. Go kayaking in the Pacific Ocean.
66. Float the Illinois River again with friends.
67. Learn Spanish.
68. Drive north on the California coast on the PCH.
69. Visit a winery in Northern California with D.
70. Get my Conceal and Carry License.
71. Buy my own gun and know how to shoot it well.
72. Go deep sea fishing with D.
73. Take a whale watching cruise/tour with D.
74. Rescue an animal from a local shelter.
75. Build a sand castle with D.
76. Buy an expensive pair of heels and not feel guilty about it.
77. Learn how to snow board.
78. Go visit my Grampi in Santa Rosa.
79. Finish blanket for my friend before she deploys.
80. Clean out my closet and get rid of all clothes that I know I cannot wear any more.

83. Take crazy pictures with D in a photo booth.

85. Learn how to change the oil on my car.

88. Take my camera with me everywhere I go on Leap Day…2/29/2012.
89. Take my camera everywhere on 10/10/10 and 11/11/11 and document “Day in the Life”. FAIL-10/10/10
90. Decorate our house for every major holiday.
91. Make new apron from a pattern.
92. Use coupons on a more regular basis.
93. Use as many whole grain food products as possible.
94. Get a magazine subscription to Better Homes and Gardens and Southern Living.
95. Get my recipes organized, in a proper book/box.
96. Buy myself a really nice piece of diamond jewelry.
97. Paint a wall red in my house.
98. Get my butt back into my skinny, sexy jeans…and have them be too big!
99. Get my dream job in a Children’s ED or a L&D unit.
100. Donate $3 for every item not completed to the Norman, OK Red Cross.
101. Do another one after this one's finished!
